Your cottage at Leukermeer is located in the middle of the beautiful De Maasduinen nature reserve. Walk from your cottage in Limburg with your dog to Nationaal Park De Maasduinen. The varied area includes dunes, forests, moors, fields, shifting sands and fens. Your dog is welcome in this nature reserve, provided it is on a leash. Also Landgoed de Hamert has beautiful hiking trails where you can walk with your leashed dog. Would you rather have your dog run free? The fairylike Bergerbos consists of oak forest, pine forest, heathlands, and sand drifts. Dogs are allowed to run free here outside of the breeding season. During the breeding season, between March 15th and June 15th, dogs must be on a leash!
